Australian Federal Government Fund Awarded

Korea-Australasia Research Centre (KAREC) will spearhead a government-funded initiative to increase the study of Korean language and culture. KAREC will lead six other institutions in developing the initiative, which has been awarded almost half a million dollars over two years from Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) for a project on Korean Language Education (Strategic Collaboration and Partnership Fund under the National Asian Languages and Studies in Schools Program ).
