Sogang International Summer College
Korea-the Innovative Gateway to Asia Two-Way Communication in Cultural diversity Duration:
June 29 - August 7, 2009
Location: Sogang University in Seoul in Korea
A six-week Summer International College offered by Sogang University provides international students with a unique opportunity to enhance a better understanding of various aspects of Korean culture. All participants will have a chance to learn about traditional and contemporary Korea, investigating the historical and religious background, political tensions with North Korea, economic and financial issues, IT/Multimedia industry, ethnic studies, East Asian cultures, etc. that continue to shape Korean life. Field experiences, including a 5-day field trip, master classes and workshops, an intercultural festival, and many other Korean cultural activities, are the highlights of this program.
